The Directorate of Human Rights in collaboration with the UNDP held a two days workshop to design human rights outreach and advocacy strategy for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Representative from Provincial Departments attended the workshop. The Director, Human Rights while opening the workshop, thanked the participants and asked them to give suggestions as to how they can contribute in the outreach strategy. During the discussion participants gave proposal which included involvement of Ulemas, training of teachers, activities with school children, involvement of local elected representatives and changes in the curriculum. Final draft will be prepared after the 2nd phase of the workshop. Secretary Law, Mr. Mukhtiar Ahmad presided the closing session of the workshop.
